In this fun project, our Clique design team explored the world of font creation using Metaflop, a font modulator tool. Participants were tasked with designing their own custom font and incorporating it into a Figma design, all within a 45-minute time frame.
The Prompt
Each designer was challenged to harness their creativity and knowledge of typography to create a unique font using the Metaflop font modulator. With their custom font in hand, they were then asked to apply it in a Figma design, showcasing their new typeface in a visually engaging way.
Outcomes
This project resulted in an impressive collection of custom fonts and accompanying Figma designs. Our designers demonstrated their versatility and understanding of typography, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with the Metaflop tool. The time constraint encouraged efficient and focused work, while still allowing for the exploration of different styles and design concepts!
