In Episode I of the Future of Shopping, we shared our discovery process for determining what to explore and our process for doing so. Now in Episode II, it’s time to share the results. Our vision for the Future of Shopping is a community-based digital platform that we’ve called Fash-On (because there’s no “I” in Fash-on!) It’s centered around a 3D room that you can navigate to discover each area of the platform. Our future for shopping does include space to buy/sell/trade with your Fash-On community, but it also includes space to learn about sustainability and style, how to mend and upcycle your clothes, and join a digital and physical community of others with shared fashion goals.
Our target audience for Fash-On is young and mindful of the world in which they exist. They care about sustainability but they also care about aesthetics and understand the joy and connection that comes from developing your personal style. So we wanted a logo that would resonate with this audience.
When building out the rest of the brand, we wanted to create a system that incorporated a variety of playful elements that gave Fash-On the style and flexibility it would need to connect all of the different components within. Cheeky 3D objects are paired with unexpected color combinations and members of the Fash-On community can illustrate who they are with custom avatars.
Explore the full Fash-On concept below. We’re excited about what this could be and hope you are, too.
