Trail Magic Pizza is a tiny new pizza shop in Kittredge, Colorado. They’re looking to bring Chicago tavern-style pizza to their adopted community and they’re looking for a visual brand to help introduce themselves. In the words of co-founder Molly, “‘Trail Magic' is a term often used by hikers to describe those unexpected moments of kindness, generosity, or joy experienced on the trail—whether it's a shared meal, a helping hand, or simply a breathtaking view at just the right moment. Our mission is to create a pizza shop—a community hub nestled in the mountains—where families and individuals can count on us for a solid meal and a friendly, inviting atmosphere.”
The Challenge
The design team at Clique Studios took on the task of creating brand concepts for Trail Magic Pizza in under an hour. This could include logos and other identity elements that could be used flexibly for menus, outdoor signage, packaging, and more.It’s a short amount of time to think through these sorts of big decisions, but the speed prevents overthinking and helps get right to the heart of the work.
